Everything we do on a regular day is based on the habits we all have, they can be good or bad habits, the first ones will help you to reach your goals, while the second ones will keep you far from reaching your goals every single day, and they will build up all kinds of barriers and problems, to create for you that kind of life where you don’t want to be anymore.
In order to keep working to create good habits to help you to reach your goals and build up the life you dream about every day, you need to quit doing those bad habits and replace them for new ones.
Some bad habits are hard to break down and they will require more work from you to get used to doing, and work on the new good habits, but you can do, it might take more time and more work but nothing is impossible and you’re already in the best path to create those new habits to help you to achieve anything you want in life.

I will give you a list of 8 bad habits to work on to help you to create 8 new habits to be more productive and achieve your goals.
While you work on each one of these habits, you can create a new page on your Bullet Journal or on your personal planner and keep a record of what you do and how it goes, and how you work on each one of them to get used to the new habit.
By doing this, you can keep the record of what helped you to be successful, to create the new habit and when you face any problem that wants you to go back to the old bad habit, you can go back to your Bullet Journal and read about how you did it to keep yourself in the good track.

#1 Quit doing your unhealthy lifestyle.

To be able to perform better every day, it’s important to pay attention to your current lifestyle.
It’s important to take your time and think about what kind of diet you have and if you do some exercise every day.
If you’re already working on this point, and you have a healthy diet, and you do some exercise every day, you’re doing good, you already know how to do it and you know how to work on it to improve your health.
If you’re not doing too well on this point, it might be time to take some time to think about it being time to make some changes in your lifestyle to help you to live better.
You might need to visit your doctor, and ask for some help or advice before you start a new diet and exercise.
Another idea is to get an appointment to a certified nutritionist, and he or she will work with you to help you to start a new healthier lifestyle.
#2 Stop planning on the short therm.
Successful people are used to making plans on the long term, and they also know they can reach any goal by doing short time habits that will help them to achieve anything they want to.
When you work on setting a new goal to achieve in the long term, you can work on a plan and set up some strategies to follow, to work on them with good habits, by doing this it will help you to know in advance what you need to do every day and every week to work according to your plan.
Daily and weekly layouts on your Bullet Journal will be a good idea to work on in this new way to set your new goals, and work on them until you reach your goals.
Work on your goals and plans according to yourself and to your beliefs, by doing this it will be easier to accomplish anything you want to in your life.

#3 Don’t think small.
It’s said that you have become what you are as the result of the five people you use to be surrounded by, it’s time to take a moment and be aware of how these people think and how they are on their daily bases.
If they think on small goals in life and they just want to be one more in this world, it might be time for you to start thinking in hasty manner.
By saying this, I want to take a moment and let you know that you don’t need to stop seeing these friends or stop living with these family members, you only need to pay attention of the way you think.
If you want to live better and achieve better things in life, you need to start doing some changes in your life, everybody can achieve anything they want to, but most of the time people are afraid to think big, to believe they can do something better or bigger.
The moment you start thinking that you can work to do better in life your mindset will start changing and you’ll be ready to work hard and smart to achieve anything you want to.
Don’t be afraid to fail, if you do you just can think it wasn’t the right way to achieve one thing, you can start over again and this time you’ll have a better chance of success because you already know one way of what not to do.

#4 Stop making excuses.
Successful people are the only ones who know that their lives success only depends on how they live, without paying any attention how they started it or how they lived as kids or their past.
By living making all kind of excuses, it will only limited our lives.
One important thing here it’s to accept 100% of responsibility of each one of your actions. Try to live according of what you do but with no excuses and circumstances based on other people or other things that stop you from achieving your goals.

If something didn’t work as you planned or it was harder to achieve of what you thought it would be, it’s OK, you can start over again, make a new plan of action and try it again, this time I’m sure you will do better.

#5 Quit to the same way of thinking.
People who don’t want to work to learn more skills tend to have a poor mentality and they don’t want to work harder.
People who have a successful mentality are always ready to work on learning something new, they are not afraid of failure, they already know that if one thing doesn’t work for them they’re ready to learn something new and try it again.
As the world changes every day and in a very fast way, you and I need to change and learn how to adapt to those changes. What you learned to do on a job today, it might make big changes in the next year.
Be ready to work on those changes and learn any new skill you need to work on to do better at your work, your business plans, and in general in your life.
Today, we all are learning how to work on computers and on the internet and everyday it does better for our lives, most of us are ready to learn how to use a new software or a new app to make our work better and easier.

#6 Stop being perfectionist.
Many people might think that being perfect they will achieve everything they want to, or they will get a better life.
We can not be perfect, but we live in a society that used to think that everything should be perfect, and we try to do that.
It might be a good idea to take a moment and write on your Bullet Journal about any time in your life when you tried to be perfect on something and you weren’t happy or you couldn’t achieve those high goals.
I’m sure those thoughts about being or trying to be perfect can lead anyone to face some hard times in life. You and me should stop to being perfect, I’m sure you can be good on many things you do every day, but you don’t need to be perfect.
You can build up a better life and have a better job or start your own business, and everything can work good for you without the need to be perfect at all.
It’s more important to enjoy the good moments of your life. It’s good to try to improve our lifestyle and everything around us, but you don’t need to be perfect to become happy.

#7 Put some limits to toxic people.
As I mention before, everyone is the result of the 5 people we use to hang out with, but you need to pay some attention to people who won’t to be around you with all kind of complaints.
You might not want to say anything about it because you want to be polite, it’s OK to listen to other people who have hard moments in life, but another thing it’s to get involve in those kinds of feelings and start creating some emotions that will not lead to anything good for you.
If you need to listen to other people while they come to you with a few things to complain about, a good idea it’s to listen politely and then ask them if they have already a plan to help to improve those things.
Most of the times, as you set this kind of question, the person who is used to complaining about everything will try to lead the conversation to something else.

#8 You don’t need to please everyone.
Many people are afraid to be not accepted by other people, and they try hard to do whatever they can to please others.
You need to understand one thing, no matter how hard you try to how good you do everything you won’t please everyone all the time.
It’s better to focus on yourself and try to build up a life you love and to be happy with.
Create a life where you can find happiness just exactly the way you are, learn to accept yourself the way you are, get to know yourself better and if there’s anything you can improve, then you can work on it.
There will be things you can change, or improve, and there will be things you can’t, life doesn’t need to be perfect to be happy or better, now you know it.
